Do I need a referral letter?

You do not need a GP or specialist to refer you to Mr Hoad-Reddick unless this is required by your insurance company.

Please contact the office on 0161 722 0007 or via before your appointment if you have had any previous relevant investigations. It is often helpful for us to obtain copies of any recent scans and x-rays ahead of your appointment with Mr Hoad-Reddick to avoid duplication, unnecessary radiation and additional cost to you.

What do I bring to my first appointment?

If you are insured, we will require the details of your insurance company and membership number along with an authorisation code. If you are a self-funding patient, a credit card swipe will be required when you come to clinic, but no money will be debited from your card at this time.

What if I need an x-ray or scan?

Simple x-rays can be performed at the time of a consultation and viewed by Mr Hoad-Reddick on the same day. If you require a scan, appointments will usually be required which can be made by telephone or by attending the radiology department.
