Do I need a referral letter?

You do not need a GP or specialist to refer you to Mr Hoad-Reddick unless this is required by your insurance company.

Please contact the office on 0161 722 0007 or via secretary@hrorthopaedics.co.uk before your appointment if you have had any previous relevant investigations. It is often helpful for us to obtain copies of any recent scans and x-rays ahead of your appointment with Mr Hoad-Reddick to avoid duplication, unnecessary radiation and additional cost to you.

What do I bring to my first appointment?

If you are insured, we will require the details of your insurance company and membership number along with an authorisation code. If you are a self-funding patient, a credit card swipe will be required when you come to clinic, but no money will be debited from your card at this time.

What if I need an x-ray or scan?

Simple x-rays can be performed at the time of a consultation and viewed by Mr Hoad-Reddick on the same day. If you require a scan, appointments will usually be required which can be made by telephone or by attending the radiology department. Following CT and MR scans, a further review appointment for the results can be made at least three working days after the scan, please call the office on 0161 722 0007 or email via secretary@hrorthopaedics.co.uk
